What if you could stop managing pain and start living again?
Stop putting your life on hold

Maybe it's the back pain that stops you from getting on the floor with your grandkids. The sleepless nights that leave you too exhausted to do the things you love. The anxiety that's quietly taken the joy out of what should be good years. Or the fatigue and neuropathy that followed cancer treatment — the part nobody warned you about.
You've done what you were told. You've taken the medications. You've gone to the appointments. And you're still here, still hurting, starting to wonder if this is just how it is now.
It doesn't have to be.
We see patients every day who have been through the medical system — sometimes for years — without getting the relief they were looking for. We're often the last house they come to. But we're not a dead end. For many of them, this is where things finally turn around.
How we help you feel like yourself again
Every treatment plan combines time-tested techniques with modern clinical methods, tailored to what your body actually needs.

A time-tested practice that addresses the root of your pain, not just the surface.
Rooted in over 3,000 years of tradition and refined by modern clinical science, acupuncture works to restore balance across the body's systems — addressing the root of your pain, not just the surface of it.

An advanced technique that's often the difference-maker for persistent pain and neuropathy.
An advanced technique that Dr. Levenson has studied with world-class practitioners — and one that simply isn't available at most practices in the region. For patients with persistent pain, neuropathy, or chemotherapy side effects, this is often the difference-maker.

Board-certified herbal formulas that extend and deepen the healing between sessions.
Nationally board-certified and deeply experienced, Dr. Levenson integrates herbal formulas where appropriate to extend and deepen the healing work done in session.

Tools you can use every day to lower stress, improve sleep, and support recovery.
Healing isn't only physical. Every individualized treatment plan includes practical instruction in breathing and meditation techniques — tools you can use every day to lower stress, improve sleep, and support your body's ability to recover.
Where whole health comes first
Every visit is built around your history, your goals, and the kind of care that actually makes a difference.
3,000 years of healing, sharpened by modern science.
Dr. Levenson pairs the deep tradition of Chinese medicine with advanced electro-acupuncture methods learned directly from some of the most respected educators in the field — techniques that simply aren't available at most practices nearby. This isn't either/or. It's both.
Very little is unfamiliar after thirty years.
Chronic pain that migrates. Neuropathy that won't quit. Sleep that's been broken for years. Side effects from treatment that no one prepared you for. Dr. Levenson has worked through all of it, and he brings that depth of experience to every appointment.
Your treatment plan starts with listening.
There is no assembly-line care here. Every patient receives a fully individualized plan, developed through careful assessment and conversation. What works for someone else may not be what you need — and finding out what you need is always the first step.
Body, mind, and spirit don't heal in isolation.
Neither does treatment at Whole Healthy Family. Alongside acupuncture, you'll receive guidance on breathing, stress reduction, and the kind of mental-emotional support that conventional appointments rarely make time for.
Getting back to the good parts of life
Real stories from people who found relief after years of searching for it. Pain and exhaustion don't have to be your new normal.
Get to know Dr. Perry Levenson

Before he was a doctor, Dr. Levenson was a trader. A performer. Someone who understood people before he ever studied medicine. That background didn't go away when he entered practice — it shaped everything about how he works. He sees patients as complete people, not collections of symptoms.
For over 30 years, he has brought that same curiosity and care to every patient who walks through the door. He studies continuously, teaches what he knows, and listens — genuinely listens — before he does anything else.

Questions, answered by Dr. Perry himself
From treatment expectations to electro-acupuncture, Dr. Perry walks you through what to know before your first session.
Your consultation begins with a comprehensive health history, including your current concern, diet, lifestyle, and family history.
Dr. Levenson uses that information to assess your condition and explain whether he thinks he can help. If he does, he will lay out an individualized treatment plan.
He also leaves extra time at the end of the consultation, so if you decide to move forward, treatment can often begin right away.
Acupuncture is generally very gentle and virtually painless. Some people feel a brief pinch or dull ache, but most patients describe the overall experience as deeply relaxing. Many feel calm during treatment, and some even fall asleep.
It depends on whether the condition is acute, chronic, or preventative. Recent injuries or sudden pain may need only three to six treatments, often scheduled closer together to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and relieve symptoms.
Chronic issues that have been present for months or years usually take longer. A fresh ankle sprain in a healthy 20-year-old may change quickly, while long-standing chemotherapy-induced neuropathy may take six to ten sessions just to begin seeing change.
In Asian medicine, the longer and deeper a pattern has been present, the longer it usually takes to unwind.
The initial consultation can last up to 20 minutes. After that, treatments are generally 20 to 30 minutes.
Properly applied electro-acupuncture can help produce stronger results in a shorter treatment window, but care does not always end when you leave the office.
Depending on your needs, Dr. Levenson may also recommend supplements, herbal formulas, breathing practices, or physical exercises to support your health goals at home.
Electro-acupuncture allows Dr. Levenson to deliver a gentle, targeted electrical signal through the needles. That signal can be directed to specific areas such as the back, hips, neck, knees, or nerve pathways connected to internal organs and the brain.
By using carefully selected frequencies, electro-acupuncture can help the body create an environment for healing, stimulate pain-relieving compounds, and support regulation of hormonal and nervous system imbalances.
Dr. Levenson has studied advanced electro-acupuncture methods that only a small number of practitioners have trained in. He continues to seek out innovative approaches so patients can receive treatment that is not widely available in the region.
The goal is safe, effective care that moves patients toward deeper resolution of the problem, rather than only temporary relief.
No. You do not need to remove your clothes for treatment. It is helpful to wear loose-fitting clothing, though, so Dr. Levenson can gently adjust sleeves, pant legs, or other clothing as needed to access the areas being treated.
Stop waiting. Start feeling better.
